The program has been developed to give each student a support network on-stage and off. One of the strengths of the CCD team lies in assessing each child’s comfort levels and building from there. How will the theater residency help my child? Will they feel comfortable? Nope! CCD has a fantastic system that allows them to guide students through an easy step-by-step audition that allows them to observe the students’ comfort with basic lines, movement, and singing. Should the students prepare anything for auditions? Each child will have an opportunity to shine and grow during the week! The educators are pros, and are great at assessing students’ strengths and assets quickly in auditions and casting them accordingly. The only problem is (unlike her lazy stepsisters) she wasn’t born with a superpower! But a group of friendly scientists have a few tricks up their sleeves, and with their assistance (plus the help of some curious kittens and a very mysterious group of elderly folk) Cinderella just might find a way to save the world! Plot synopsis: When the local superhero league announces it’s looking for new members, Cinderella is eager to try out so she can make the world a better place. One free adult ticket is included with every registration!ĭuring our week with Compass Creative Dramatics, our students will learn, play, and perform Cinderella (Saves the World!). Tickets will be available for purchase with cash or card at pick-up and drop-off throughout the week, as well as starting 45 minutes before the start of each performance.
